About Katie from Band:

Katie from Band (Katie Delcourt) is a music artist from Biddeford, Maine. Combining elements from country, folk, pop, punk, and jazz, she creates a unique listening experience that is deep, fun, and full of surprises. From musical comedy to prolific emotional ballads, expect to be clapping, dancing, crying, laughing, and singing!

Katie has performed both nationally and internationally. At age ten, she sang at the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN and won "Most Promising Female Artist" in North American Country Music Association's International Music Competition. Most recently, she won Brooklyn's "Wildwood Recording Studio" weekly songwriting contest with her songs, "Cool, You're Happy" and "Wearing Pink". Her song “A Place on Earth” aired on WCLZ’s “Music from 207” in March 2025, with an independently produced music video released on Easter 2025.

Being a "Band Kid" in school, Katie saw how music can change lives and build community, even among the most different types of people. While in band, she developed an immense love for music of all genres, especially those with a focus on storytelling . Through her diverse original songs and themed cover acts, she hopes to pay homage to all of the music that inspired her and helped her grow through hard times. 

Katie has appeared at various festivals, including Biddeford's Pollinator Festival, Winterfest, and First Friday artwalks. She has performed with Maine artists Thomas Charles Clukey and Morgan the Fairy as well as internationally touring Eli Lev and L.A. based Jules Penham.

Katie was featured on Scotland's "Buskers of Glasgow" Facebook page in 2021. Her song "Midnight Blue" aired on the BBC University of East Anglia Student radio station in 2018.
