Katie from Band (Katie Delcourt) is a music artist from Biddeford, Maine. Combining elements from country, folk, pop, punk, and jazz, she creates a unique listening experience that is deep, fun, and full of surprises. She is known for her award winning songwriting and prolific lyrics.
Accomplishments
Katie has performed both nationally and internationally. Notably, at age ten, she won "Most Promising Female Artist" at the Country Tonite Theatre's International Country Music competition, held in Pigeon Forge, TN. Most recently, she won Brooklyn's "Wildwood Recording Studio" weekly songwriting contest with her songs, "Cool, You're Happy" and "Wearing Pink". Her song “A Place on Earth” aired on WCLZ’s “Music from 207” in March 2025, with an independently produced music video released on Easter 2025.
Katie was featured on Scotland's "Buskers of Glasgow" Facebook page in 2021. Her song "Midnight Blue" aired on the BBC University of East Anglia student radio station in 2018.
Collaborations:
Katie has performed with Maine musicians Thomas Charles Clukey and Morgan the Fairy. She has also collaborated with internationally touring artist Eli Lev, Berklee-based Emmett Benezra, and L.A based Jules Penham, Katie's projects have spanned many genres, including folk, pop, country, EDM and jazz.
